Frontline Operations Manager

The Frontline Operations Manager at the Quincy Children’s Museum plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring a safe, engaging, and enriching experience for all visitors. As a key member of the administrative team, you will collaborate with floor staff, volunteers, and other stakeholders to advance the museum's mission, vision, and values. While responsibilities may evolve, the following outlines the core duties for this role:


Visitor Experience: Foster a welcoming environment by supporting and managing visitor flow and safety; promptly respond to phone calls, texts, and emails; maintain accurate membership records; support museum programs including Museums for All, Ready. Set. Grow., in-house programming and mobile outreach; ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met throughout the museum.


Scheduling: Oversee the scheduling of field trips, birthday parties, and mobile events.


Event Coordination & Support: Collaborate in the planning and execution of museum events, fundraisers, and educational programs.


Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the museum’s leadership team, including managing office tasks, maintaining databases, assisting with document preparation, and supporting other operational needs to ensure the museum’s efficiency and success


Work Environment:

This position involves working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, this is 

NOT a remote position, Weekend and occasional evening work may be required.

Schedule 9 am - 12:15 pm  4/5 days per week + up to 10 additional hours as needed, may be remote based on availability & additional staffing needs
