Custodian/Maintenance

Custodian/Maintenance
Reports to: Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Supervisor on duty.
Classification:  Non-Exempt / Hourly, Part-Time
 
JOB SUMMARY:
Performs custodial duties and minor store repairs.  Assists in sanitation, and safety hazards while keeping the workplace clean and organized.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Perform cleaning duties and minor repair work.  Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows, and walls.
  2.  Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones.
  3. Maintain cleaning inventory and place orders for new products when needed.
  4. Empty trash and recycling bins.
  5. Clean and maintain restrooms.
  6. Dust furniture and fixtures.
  7. Limited grounds and parking lot maintenance.
  8. Reports and needs for major store repair to a member of Management.
  9. Assist in checking for any safety hazards and correct deficiencies as soon as possible.
  10. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly tasks checklist as assigned.
  11. Must be able to communicate with customers, management, and store team members.
  12. Physically able to lift, bent, stoop, climb, and reach.
  13. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  14. Consistent attendance for regularly scheduled work shifts is required.
 
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Other duties and responsibilities that may be required to meet the needs of the business.
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
  1. Minimum Age requirement is 18 years old.
  2. Some maintenance and custodial experience preferred.
 
Excellent Benefit Package:
Team Members who average a minimum of 25 hours per week after six months of employment are eligible for standard dental, vision, accident, legal, and identity fraud protection per Company eligibility requirements.
 
STRONG TEAM MEMBER DISCOUNT AFTER 30 DAYS
 
Wage Range:  $15.00/hr-$18.00/hr
