D&I Academy 2023

Description

The D&I Academy is a 7-week course program commencing on April 5th, with weekly sessions culminating in a graduation ceremony on May 17th. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from a range of experts and engage in panel discussions aimed at raising awareness about the importance of diversity and inclusion within the community.

The Academy's objective is to empower attendees to become champions of diversity and inclusion, enabling them to take concrete steps towards promoting inclusivity in their respective organizations and beyond. Through the sharing of experiences and best practices, participants will be equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to effect real change and help build a more equitable and diverse society.

 The session dates are April 5^th, April 12^th, April 19^th, April 26^th, May 3^rd, May 10^th and Graduation Breakfast on May 17^th. The Academy will be held at John Wood Community College 1301 S. 48^th Street, from 8:30am to 12 noon. Registration cost is $300 for Chamber members and $450 for non-members, and includes all materials needed.
